What’s occuring?

Hey Muma’s

I hope your Friday is going well,
I am pleased to say that we at the Independent Mum’s Handbook have a few exciting things coming up.

Monday 18th is the launch of the podcast. You can find the podcast on anchor here: https://anchor.fm/lndependentmumshandbook/episodes/Planes–pregnancy-and-patience-e17k6m7/a-a6ib6hn

It’s also available on Google, iTunes and Spotify.
Each week there will be an interview with a different mother to discuss her experience of motherhood.

In our Facebook group, we have guest speaker Emily coming to talk about mortgages.

Here’s her bio:

My name is Emily, I turned 30 this year, and I am a mother of two tiny dictators…boys aged 5 and 7. I started my career relatively young…I was 17 when I joined a high street bank, and I learnt a lot very quickly. I like to think it made me better with my own finances, but we all make mistakes along the way- never be afraid to admit that!
After 13 years in financial services, a small break in between being an estate agent and 2 children later, I’d like to think I can support you in your journeys.

Emily can give you advice on

  • becoming a homeowner for the first time,
  • mortgages
  • buying your local authority home
  • protecting your lifestyle,
  • protecting your families if you are no longer here or suffer a critical illness.

The best thing about Emily coming in to have a chat is that there is no pressure. You can ask questions that you may not feel comfortable asking elsewhere.

If you would like to join in the session or know a friend who may be interested, join our Facebook group for more information: https://www.facebook.com/groups/2745798899014715

I look forward to seeing you in the group.
Enjoy your weekend
